ToySight Gold Expansion pack is released!
Three cool new games for ToySight, including the first ever 8 player rendezvous networked 3D fighter combat game with voice activated guns!
ToySight Gold is available as an upgrade to the original ToySight for US$9.95 or as a pack including ToySight for US$34.95. Both are available as downloads direct from the Freeverse Store.
One feature we've added to ToySight Gold is the ability to play most of the ToySight and ToySight Gold games with the mouse or keyboard if you don't have a camera plugged in. That way if you don't have an iSight handy or if it would be embarrasing for you to be seen waving your hands about and shouting "Dagadagadagadaga" into your Mac, you can play the games with the mouse or keyboard. It's not quite as cool, but then again it doesn't get you thrown out of theatres either ;)

Airburst Extreme has gone into production!
Our great new game, Airburst Extreme has gone into production and is now available to order direct from the Freeverse Store or from your local Mac games retailer (such as Mac Merchant in Tottenham Court Road, London for instance )
Airburst Extreme is the followup to our award winning game Airburst and has been re-written from the ground up to include an interactive Story Game, introducing the 10 different characters, each with their own Extreme powers, 32 different game types, most of which are also playable over a network. Watch out too for the new power ups, spectacular OpenGL rendered graphics and great soundtrack from Abdoujaparov, Freekstar and Jaffa Mountain!
We’ve also released a downloadble demo of Airburst Extreme that lets you try out a couple of the game types and see just how spectacular Airburst Extreme is!

Console Game Developers Move to Mac
Strange Flavour To Develop More Mac Games
Professional UK game developers Aaron and Adam Fothergill today announced that they have set up Strange Flavour Ltd. as their full time business, with the intention of writing new, Macintosh only games and games related software.
Formerly of Argonaut Games, Aaron and Adam have worked on several major titles, including Harry Potter and the Sorceror’s Stone and Alien Resurection for the Playstation, I-Ninja for PS2, Game Cube, X-Box and PC and the soon to be released Catwoman for PS2, Game Cube, X-Box and PC. Running Strange Flavour in their spare time, the duo have managed to create Bushfire and the award winning Mac titles Airburst and ToySight.
“We really enjoyed our years at Argonaut and learned a lot by working in such a professional and technologically advanced outfit, but we both thought that it was the ideal time for us to concentrate on our Mac games development.” said Aaron Fothergill, “By going full time, we hope to be able to create even more original games for the platform we love".
Strange Flavour have partnered with Freeverse Software of New York to publish their games internationally. As with their popular game ToySight, Strange Flavour games will be available in Apple Stores as well as most major Macintosh games retailers. Strange Flavour are currently working on Airburst Extreme, the follow up to their hit game Airburst.
