Strange Flavour Sponsoring the space industry

We recently sponsored a rocket launch by a friend of ours Scott, in the US. This rocket was Scott's second attempt to get an L3 rating, which would allow him to build and launch bigger rockets.
Freeverse have a video of the previous launch attempt on their Monkeyblog (and on my .Mac page here http://homepage.mac.com/zwilnik/iMovieTheater21.html ) which went pretty well, although unfortunately the parachute deployed on the way up (near mach 1!) and 'zippered' the fuselage, tearing it down one side. As the rocket has to land perfectly intact to qualify, Scott had to do a second attempt, which we got to stick our logo on :)

This time, despite windy conditions, the launch went perfectly and the rocket "Mr Pointy" landed in one piece and qualified!

Our congratulations to Scott in his part of the space race and we're glad to have done our tiny little bit towards the future of space travel :)
